Description
New piston seals for the pistons in your 35mm Marzocchi forks. You are buying two seal sets, one for each damper rod.
The original design was a split nylon bush with a hair spring behind it, to force the seal out. A simple and effective solution!
This product replaces that seal with a much more modern two piece seal. Each element of the seal is continuous, so once installed the perfect seal will ensure the oil goes where is it supposed to with no blow past.
Arguably the best upgrade you can male toy your Marzocchi forks without replacing the internals.
PLEASE NOTE : installing these seals requires significant amounts of oil and great deal of care to ease them into position. If you do it dry and like using hammers and chisels to install delicate parts YOU WILL DAMAGE, RIP AND TEAR the seal and this is NOT the product for you. When you install the damper assembly back into the tube similar levels of care are needed to get the assembly into the tube. It’s just like fitting new piston rings and a new piston into a freshly rebores motor… You must do it carefully.
