Maico fork seals for the ’42mm’ Maico forks as fitted to the 1981 490cc Maico
The actual seal size is 41.7mm. If you fit a 42mm seal they will leak!
Each seal has a double lipped sealing profile, one sealing surface acts as an oil seal to keep oil in, the sealing surface acts as a wiper seal to keep muck out. Twice the sealing!
One seal is fitted per leg.
